We've been keeping our eyes peeled, (ha, sorry) for something new and here it is the humble banana!
If you didn't get a chance to see any of the London Design Festival, then you need to get it in your diary for next year!
With events all over London there was so much to see. We headed down to the V&A, Villa Walala and Joy and Peace by Morag Myerscough and Luke Morgan.
Villa Walala was great fun. As you may be able to tell on this blog we are big fans of Camille Walala and always love seeing her designs.
Joy and Peace is a bright and playful installation in 2 parts, it brings a splash of colour to the city.

Hands up if you've spotted this trend! With the growing love and use of emojis, hand icons are everywhere. As positive icons on tees or fun all over prints, we can only see this trend getting bigger. Thumbs up to that!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Last week we headed down to the lovely Fashion and Textiles Museum to check out 'The World of Anna Sui'.
A great exhibition with so much to see, you really feel as if you're in New York.
The show is on until 1st October, so make sure you get down there!
We also went to a talk 'Fashion Trend Forecasting' from Gwyneth Holland and Rae Jones, which was great, really interesting and informative. The Fashion and Textile Museum has a fantastic programme of talks and events, see their website for what's on.
P.s A date for your diary, from 25th May 2018 there will be 'Orla Kiely: A Life in Pattern' on at the Fashion and Textile Museum. We can't wait!
It's as easy as A, B, C! We are digging these fun uses of typography. Either spelling out words, being turned into characters or just creating fresh new patterns; letters and numbers are the way forward!
On your marks ... get set ... GO! Get ready to race for these fun and retro graphics heavily influenced by the 70s & 80s. Hula hoops, badminton and tennis graphics are all in full swing!
Scissors at the ready, the cut-out trend is here in a big way!
Whether it's creating fun characters and scenes, or fresh all over patterns, we can't get enough!
Take a tip from the sloth this morning and take it slow. We are seeing these guys everywhere, creating fun stripes, doing yoga and generally just chilling out.
Let's face it, we can't take our eyes off these fun face prints that keep popping up everywhere we look! Adding tons of personality along the way, these prints can't help but make you smile.
